Whitechapel Australia is working with Essential Greens to develop distribution and commercialisation agreements for their microalgae products
Essential Greens Pty Ltd is an Australian company based in Northern New South Wales that is developing production systems to produce micro algae. These products include whole algae for nutraceuticals and to supplement functional foods, Omega 3 rich oils, protein rich biomass and high value products such as carotenoids and phytonutrients.
The two microalgae of primary interest are Chlorella (which has a well-established market for the whole algae) and Nannochloropsis (which is recognised as one of the most efficient species for the production of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) omega-3).
